Our Purpose:
Wee Angels Programs for Children is part of
the church's efforts to provide needed and meaningful programs for
children. Our purpose is to provide a wholesome atmosphere for
age-appropriate learning experiences. The church community
acknowledges its responsibility and privilege to minister to families in
a meaningful manner by stressing general Christian values. All
activities and experiences will stress the dignity and worth of each
child.
Our Curriculum:
Wee Angles' curriculum is designed to develop
the whole child: emotionally, physically, intellectually, and
spiritually. We focus on general Christian concepts of God, love,
family, and friends.
Children participate in weekly chapel, weekly
Bible stories, weekly music classes, and weekly classes in
movement/dance.
We believe that children learn best through
play and hands-on activities. The children are actively involved
and are adequately prepared for future learning as they progress to
primary school.
Our Staff:
Our staff members are employed by Wee Angels
because of their qualifications, and because of their genuine love,
concern, and interest in young children. Some staff are degreed,
while other have extensive experience and coursework. All staff
are
required to be certified in First Aid and CPR, and are also required to
complete 12 hours of continuing education per year.
