PRAYER CHAIN—DMUMC
members who form a network to receive prayer requests, pray
immediately for each request and then forward them on to the next
person on the chain. New sign-up list and reactivation of the
existing prayer chain.

INTERCESSORY
PRAYER MEETINGS—DMUMC members
who meet to pray for specific needs within DMUMC, its members, and
the nation. Morning and evening prayers will be from 10
a.m. -10:30 a.m. and from 7:00 a.m. -7:30 a.m. on the 1st and 3rd
Monday of each month.

NEWCOMERS
MINISTRY—connects church
visitors with church families, fellowship hour, and follows up with
information and a welcome packet.

CREATING A CHURCH
HOME— Adult class for
new and prospective members.

TOUCH OF LOVE—
extends love and fellowship to those “shut-in” because of health or
age. Includes nursing homes, biweekly phone calls, monthly visits,
etc.

HEART STRINGS—Convalescent
Ministry —contacts those who have been discharged from the hospital
to let them know the congregation has personal interest in them.
Immediate phone call following discharge
from
hospital arranging for meals and help as needed.

SET FREE MINISTRY—Narcotics
Anonymous meetings that currently meet at the church to help those
in need.

WELCOME TO THE
WORLD— Opportunity for the
congregation to represent the church in celebrating the birth of a
child by taking a special gift for baby, siblings and parents .
This will expand the current ministry for new babies.

SENIOR MINISTRY—
once a month lunch or activity during the week for DMUMC seniors and
a birthday party at residence for 90 + members with cake, punch and
the works.

“I CAN DO THAT”—Actively
involves the congregation in volunteering to help with small
projects around the church that needs to be done. Regular
activities such as helping with lunches, office help with extra
projects, meals to church members, drive someone in need, sing in
the choir, usher, read scriptures, sharpen pencils, write a quick
note, plant flowers, and more. Many of these
activities are being done now, we need to add YOU to the lists to
help and be involved.

CHILDREN’S PRAYER
PAL—Every child in the church
needs prayer. This ministry assigns every child from birth through
high school graduation to one adult who will pray faithfully for
that child as they grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord Jesus.

SINGLES MINISTRY—Fellowship
time on a regular basis for the widows, widowers and other singles
for fun, food, and activities and fellowship.
